The Role

We’re looking for a Principal – Talent Sourcing who brings strong capability in direct sourcing and candidate engagement and is motivated to contribute to high‑quality, scalable hiring outcomes across our client partnerships. You’ll work closely with recruiters, hiring managers and client teams, using your expertise to shape sourcing strategies and deliver strong talent pipelines.
You'll be responsible for identifying and engaging top - tier candidates to meet our organisation's hiring needs. Using your expertise in sourcing strategies and candidate outreach techniques, you'll search various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks, to identify potential candidates who align with our client’s company values and requirements.

Key Accountabilities

What you’ll do:
  • Apply your sourcing expertise to identify, engage and attract high‑quality candidates across a range of channels, including job boards, search engines and professional networks.
  • Use your relationship‑building skills to partner with recruiters and hiring managers, taking detailed role briefs and contributing market insight and best practice.
  • Leverage your networking skills to build and maintain sector‑specific talent pools through referrals, proactive outreach and direct sourcing techniques.
  • Use your communication skills to engage, screen and qualify candidates, gathering key information to create robust long‑lists.
  • Contribute to effective job advertising by managing job board and client career‑site postings to maximise reach and impact.
  • Collaborate with client services and delivery teams to share progress, manage expectations and support ongoing hiring needs.
  • Apply your organisational skills to maintain agreed service levels, targets and accurate updates across recruitment systems.
  • Contribute to team effectiveness by actively participating in team meetings and sharing knowledge and insights.

Skills & Requirements

Must‑have
  • Demonstrated ability in direct sourcing and candidate identification using a wide range of innovative tools and techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to source talent within the UK market.
  • Strength in communication and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to build trusted working relationships.
  • Ability to screen, assess and qualify candidates effectively against role requirements.
  • Familiarity with recruitment technologies, databases and applicant tracking systems, or strong learning agility to adopt new tools quickly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, delivery‑focused recruitment environment.
  • High proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate clearly in both written and spoken contexts.
Nice‑to‑have
  • Strength in presenting insights or recommendations to recruiters and hiring stakeholders.
  • Experience in creating, interpreting and presenting recruitment insights, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders
  • Experience contributing to continuous improvement of sourcing strategies or processes.
